We have a new land listing that could help ease the New Hampshire housing
crunch. Simple economic laws of supply and demand tell us that more people
want to live in New Hampshire than housing opportunities are available, so if we
build more housing, prices will cool as supply increases. Adding to that are recent
legislative efforts to cut down on needless local government meddling in property
rights.
How ironic that the reason for the increased demand to live here—the New
Hampshire Advantage of low taxes and maximum liberty—is now the very thing
that has led to discouraging liberty folks from moving or remaining here. Has Live
Free or Die been too successful or not successful enough yet?
The new land listing of 127.73 acres in Henniker offers good development
potential for a subdivision on the upper part of the lot and light commercial
businesses on the lower part right off the main highway. Tax Map5B Lot97 NH Route
114, Henniker, NH 03242 – MLS# 5075326 – Coldwell Banker. More homes and businesses
in place of vacant land just sitting around unused—helping to satisfy market
demand and creating more prosperity for all at the same time. We think that’s a
good thing!
